Today I'm I’m diving into a topic that helped my own show take off back in 2016—creating a great website for your podcast.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but my well-built podcast website played a massive role in growing my audience. Why? Because discoverability in podcasting is tough, and having a central hub—your own website—can give you a big edge.
I’ll cover exactly what every podcast website needs, from episode embeds and subscribe buttons to mailing list signups and easy navigation. And, I’ll tell you about an incredible tool called Podcastpage.io that makes building your podcast’s website a breeze, without needing to be a developer.
Don’t miss this episode if you’re ready to level up your podcast’s online presence. Hit subscribe, and if you want to try Podcastpage.io, use my code JOECASEBONA for 10% off!

★ Support this podcast ★00:00:04 --> 00:00:07 Welcome to Podcast Workflows, the show for people
00:00:07 --> 00:00:10 who love their podcast, but spend too much time
00:00:10 --> 00:00:13 on it. This show will give you short tips to
00:00:13 --> 00:00:17 improve your process, grow your show and save
00:00:17 --> 00:00:22 you up to 12 hours per week. You'll get deep
00:00:22 --> 00:00:24 dives on how the best podcasters produce their
00:00:24 --> 00:00:29 show and you'll learn a ton. So let's get into
00:00:29 --> 00:00:36 it. When my show first took off in late 2016,
00:00:37 --> 00:00:41 lots of people asked me how I grew this show
00:00:41 --> 00:00:44 so much. And if I'm being honest with you, I
00:00:44 --> 00:00:48 don't really know, or at least I didn't know
00:00:48 --> 00:00:52 at the time. I didn't feel like I was doing anything
00:00:52 --> 00:00:56 particularly special. But one thing that I was
00:00:56 --> 00:00:59 doing that I ended up noticing a lot of podcasters
00:00:59 --> 00:01:06 were not doing was I had a great website. I have
00:01:06 --> 00:01:09 been a web developer for more than 20 years.
00:01:09 --> 00:01:11 And while I don't do that professionally anymore
00:01:11 --> 00:01:16 at the time, I still was. And I would say I still
00:01:16 --> 00:01:20 got it, at least pretty good. So when I launched
00:01:20 --> 00:01:24 my podcast, then called How I Built It, I was
00:01:24 --> 00:01:27 very keen to make sure it had a great website.
00:01:27 --> 00:01:32 A website with the episode embed, a good description,
00:01:33 --> 00:01:36 artwork, subscribe buttons, an easy way for people
00:01:36 --> 00:01:41 to support me or join my newsletter or just easily
00:01:41 --> 00:01:46 search for episodes. And eventually a place for
00:01:46 --> 00:01:50 the transcripts to live. And I still fully believe
00:01:50 --> 00:01:55 today that you need a good website for your podcast.
00:01:55 --> 00:02:01 Maybe more than ever. I often talk about why
00:02:01 --> 00:02:05 podcasting is so hard to grow, and part of it
00:02:05 --> 00:02:10 is a discoverability issue. There's no place
00:02:10 --> 00:02:14 like YouTube for podcasts, and while YouTube
00:02:14 --> 00:02:19 is getting in to podcasts, when you need to watch
00:02:19 --> 00:02:23 a video, you know to go to YouTube. When you
00:02:23 --> 00:02:27 need to or want to listen to a podcast, there's
00:02:27 --> 00:02:32 no one place to go. If you have an iPhone, maybe
00:02:32 --> 00:02:36 you go to Apple podcasts. If you have an Android
00:02:36 --> 00:02:41 phone, maybe you go to Spotify. I have a local
00:02:41 --> 00:02:44 podcast where most people listen in the browser,
00:02:45 --> 00:02:49 on the website. There are third party apps like
00:02:49 --> 00:02:54 Overcast. And so it makes finding podcasts harder.
00:02:54 --> 00:03:00 But if you optimize your title and description
00:03:00 --> 00:03:04 to be found by Google on a website you control,
00:03:05 --> 00:03:08 then you can point people in the right direction
00:03:08 --> 00:03:12 to listen to your show or any other show you
00:03:12 --> 00:03:16 want or any other episode. I should say that
00:03:16 --> 00:03:20 you want them to listen to in whatever app they
00:03:20 --> 00:03:26 prefer to listen in. So today I want to talk
00:03:26 --> 00:03:30 about the things that your podcast website should
00:03:30 --> 00:03:35 have. And then I'm going to tell you about a
00:03:35 --> 00:03:39 wonderful service for building websites called
00:03:39 --> 00:03:43 PodcastPage .io. This episode is brought to you
00:03:43 --> 00:03:49 by podcastpage .io, and I do have a video walkthrough
00:03:49 --> 00:03:52 over on my YouTube channel that I will link in
00:03:52 --> 00:03:57 the description for this episode. So first, let's
00:03:57 --> 00:04:04 talk about the things that you need on your podcast's
00:04:04 --> 00:04:09 website. I mean, first just shows artwork name
00:04:09 --> 00:04:13 and description. You want to know what people,
00:04:14 --> 00:04:17 you want people to know what they're going to
00:04:17 --> 00:04:20 get when they get to your website. You also want
00:04:20 --> 00:04:25 an easy way to subscribe, the subscribe buttons
00:04:25 --> 00:04:29 across all the places where you can subscribe.
00:04:29 --> 00:04:32 Now there is a service called episodes .fm that
00:04:32 --> 00:04:35 will kind of curate these for you, but having
00:04:35 --> 00:04:38 these buttons on your website more than once,
00:04:38 --> 00:04:41 top of the page, bottom of the page, modal, something
00:04:41 --> 00:04:44 in the top navigation, so that people know that
00:04:44 --> 00:04:47 they don't need to be on this website to listen
00:04:47 --> 00:04:51 to your show. So, subscribe buttons are a must.
00:04:52 --> 00:04:55 I would say mailing list sign up form is really
00:04:55 --> 00:05:00 important. You want to get your audience to join
00:05:00 --> 00:05:05 your community and be in your orbit and a mailing
00:05:05 --> 00:05:08 list is the best place to do that. A playlist
00:05:08 --> 00:05:12 or easy way to listen to multiple episodes. your
00:05:12 --> 00:05:17 headshot and bio, a contact information page,
00:05:17 --> 00:05:21 and any other information that you think would
00:05:21 --> 00:05:27 be helpful for your podcast. So those are, I
00:05:27 --> 00:05:32 think, the things you absolutely need to have
00:05:32 --> 00:05:37 for a podcast website. And I'll tell you, I will
00:05:37 --> 00:05:42 link to the demo site I set up over on podcastpage
00:05:42 --> 00:05:46 .io so that you can kind of see what it looks
00:05:46 --> 00:05:52 like with real information, but in a very short
00:05:52 --> 00:05:57 amount of time, I was able to put together a
00:05:57 --> 00:06:01 nice looking website that had everything I talked
00:06:01 --> 00:06:06 about. Now I didn't, I actually, as far as like
00:06:06 --> 00:06:11 a mailing list, Sign up goes I don't have that
00:06:11 --> 00:06:17 but they do have Integrations and forms and so
00:06:17 --> 00:06:20 you can integrate with a number of services like
00:06:20 --> 00:06:23 HubSpot if you have the higher plan you can integrate
00:06:23 --> 00:06:27 with Zapier and Oh, and they have Wow and they
00:06:27 --> 00:06:31 have direct integration with convert kit, so
00:06:31 --> 00:06:35 that's the one I use they have convert kit MailChimp
00:06:35 --> 00:06:41 and Zappier and HubSpot so Mailing list issue
00:06:41 --> 00:06:46 solved So what are the things that I really like
00:06:46 --> 00:06:49 about? Podcast page first of all I mean I want
00:06:49 --> 00:06:51 to be like radically transparent here because
00:06:51 --> 00:06:55 they are a sponsor and I am a web developer but
00:06:55 --> 00:07:01 I have WordPress has been my weapon of choice
00:07:01 --> 00:07:08 for a long time And I know that you need to have
00:07:08 --> 00:07:15 some know -how to use a WordPress website. Especially
00:07:15 --> 00:07:18 if you want to make it super easy and import
00:07:18 --> 00:07:23 your episodes, right? And so there's also been
00:07:23 --> 00:07:25 a little bit of WordPress drama that I'm not
00:07:25 --> 00:07:28 going to get into because I don't care that much
00:07:28 --> 00:07:31 about it, but... When you have a project that
00:07:31 --> 00:07:35 big with that much of an audience and a bunch
00:07:35 --> 00:07:42 of different Stakeholders will say that they're
00:07:42 --> 00:07:47 trying to please it could be very hard to Get
00:07:47 --> 00:07:50 something up and running easily and when I was
00:07:50 --> 00:07:53 in the WordPress space, I would say the opposite
00:07:53 --> 00:07:58 all the time would say oh no it's easy you can
00:07:58 --> 00:08:01 get you know famous one -click install whatever
00:08:01 --> 00:08:08 but the fact of the matter is that today in the
00:08:08 --> 00:08:12 mid 2020s there are a lot of tools out there
00:08:12 --> 00:08:16 that are I believe much better suited than WordPress
00:08:16 --> 00:08:19 if you are looking to have just a good podcast
00:08:19 --> 00:08:22 website If you have like a whole media experience
00:08:22 --> 00:08:26 or you know how to program like I do, and you
00:08:26 --> 00:08:29 don't mind putting some time into programming,
00:08:30 --> 00:08:32 fine, right? WordPress or some other tool might
00:08:32 --> 00:08:36 be good for you. But if you are looking for easy
00:08:36 --> 00:08:41 and intuitive for your podcast specifically,
00:08:41 --> 00:08:45 I don't believe WordPress is that. Case in point.
00:08:46 --> 00:08:49 My main show, or I guess my bigger show, I'll
00:08:49 --> 00:08:53 say, The Streamline Solopreneur has a fantastic
00:08:53 --> 00:08:57 experience. It's a WordPress site, but it has
00:08:57 --> 00:09:02 custom code and my VA goes in every week or,
00:09:02 --> 00:09:07 you know, every episode. She schedules multiple
00:09:07 --> 00:09:10 episodes at once, but she'll go in for each episode
00:09:10 --> 00:09:14 and create a new post with a template that I
00:09:14 --> 00:09:18 created. for that. If you're not familiar with
00:09:18 --> 00:09:22 WordPress or you're not a programmer or you don't
00:09:22 --> 00:09:28 have a VA, that is a ton of work. And if we look
00:09:28 --> 00:09:33 at this podcast, Podcast Workflows, I no longer
00:09:33 --> 00:09:37 have the time or the bandwidth or the wherewithal
00:09:37 --> 00:09:44 to custom code something for this podcast. So
00:09:44 --> 00:09:46 if you go to podcast workflows, I'm using an
00:09:46 --> 00:09:51 import tool, but I kind of super hate it. You
00:09:51 --> 00:09:56 know, it creates, it does create a post for every
00:09:56 --> 00:10:01 episode, but I, you know, I will often create
00:10:01 --> 00:10:05 podcast episodes based on blog posts or articles
00:10:05 --> 00:10:08 I write for podcastworkflows .com. So then we
00:10:08 --> 00:10:12 run into an issue of nearly duplicate content.
00:10:13 --> 00:10:17 And so I either need to go in and just add, like
00:10:17 --> 00:10:22 embed my player on the article page. Or I should
00:10:22 --> 00:10:27 have an entirely different website for the podcast
00:10:27 --> 00:10:33 that is maybe a sub domain so that it contributes
00:10:33 --> 00:10:37 to the SEO, where when someone searches on podcast
00:10:37 --> 00:10:41 workflows, it's not ramming into multiple types
00:10:41 --> 00:10:44 of content. that's really a less than desirable
00:10:44 --> 00:10:48 experience. And if you're starting from scratch
00:10:48 --> 00:10:50 and you're thinking, well, now I need to buy
00:10:50 --> 00:10:52 hosting and find the right plugin and the theme.
00:10:53 --> 00:10:57 I really think that podcast page, after using
00:10:57 --> 00:11:02 it, you know, I got a free account and a shout
00:11:02 --> 00:11:08 out to the podcast page team, right? I was able
00:11:08 --> 00:11:11 to get up and running quickly. and I'm really
00:11:11 --> 00:11:15 impressed with what I saw. So I think I spent
00:11:15 --> 00:11:18 too much time explaining, like pleading my case
00:11:18 --> 00:11:20 for this, but I want to make it clear that as
00:11:20 --> 00:11:24 someone who has over two decades of web development
00:11:24 --> 00:11:31 experience in 2024, making a great podcast website
00:11:31 --> 00:11:38 no longer requires development know -how or it
00:11:38 --> 00:11:48 no longer requires hiring a developer. So, what
00:11:48 --> 00:11:54 are some of the features of podcastpage .io that
00:11:54 --> 00:11:58 I really like? Number one is easy import. I mean,
00:11:58 --> 00:12:00 this is like, this has been the bane of my existence
00:12:00 --> 00:12:04 for this show, is how do I want to handle importing
00:12:04 --> 00:12:07 episodes to a website that has similar articles?
00:12:07 --> 00:12:12 How do I create a good experience when the main
00:12:12 --> 00:12:14 goal of this site is really for written content
00:12:14 --> 00:12:19 and Again, I haven't been happy with any of the
00:12:19 --> 00:12:21 solutions. I have found I have a solution that
00:12:21 --> 00:12:27 works Okay But with podcast page is easy import
00:12:27 --> 00:12:32 it will import your episodes But if you have
00:12:32 --> 00:12:38 reviews It'll also import those and it will import
00:12:38 --> 00:12:42 the subscribe icons. So again, something that
00:12:42 --> 00:12:44 I've had to do in the past is I use, this is
00:12:44 --> 00:12:48 a legitimately good plugin called podcast subscribe
00:12:48 --> 00:12:51 buttons, but I have to set those up, right? I
00:12:51 --> 00:12:55 have to paste the links in and if I want different
00:12:55 --> 00:12:58 types of buttons, I need to create another set
00:12:58 --> 00:13:01 of buttons. It's really nice that they automatically
00:13:01 --> 00:13:05 import subscribe icons. It's super, super cool.
00:13:06 --> 00:13:08 Then they present you with a theme so like you
00:13:08 --> 00:13:10 don't need to go hunting for a theme that looks
00:13:10 --> 00:13:13 good They put a bunch in front of you. There's
00:13:13 --> 00:13:18 also an intuitive customizer Where you can choose
00:13:18 --> 00:13:23 color schemes fonts padding if you want And you
00:13:23 --> 00:13:26 can really apply your branding and logos and
00:13:26 --> 00:13:31 imagery to the pre -made theme or template They
00:13:31 --> 00:13:37 also have a really nice page builder. So Something
00:13:37 --> 00:13:41 that I know a lot of people struggle with in
00:13:41 --> 00:13:43 other. I'm not just going to pick on WordPress
00:13:43 --> 00:13:47 here and other website tools is and this was
00:13:47 --> 00:13:49 something that really impressed me about podcast
00:13:49 --> 00:13:56 page is that a page builder is you're creating
00:13:56 --> 00:14:00 layouts and you're adding features and different
00:14:00 --> 00:14:04 types of content. And a blog is some place where
00:14:04 --> 00:14:07 you just want to write and you might want access
00:14:07 --> 00:14:11 to those layouts or features, but you're primarily
00:14:11 --> 00:14:15 writing. And it feels like if one is built primarily
00:14:15 --> 00:14:19 for building pages, you're fighting the interface
00:14:19 --> 00:14:22 to write. And if it's built primarily for writing,
00:14:22 --> 00:14:24 then you're fighting the interface to build layouts.
00:14:26 --> 00:14:33 On podcastpage .io, the Solution is two different
00:14:33 --> 00:14:36 experiences. And so you have these things called
00:14:36 --> 00:14:39 custom widgets across the entire site. So for
00:14:39 --> 00:14:44 latest episode or playlist or they also do. I
00:14:44 --> 00:14:45 haven't mentioned this yet. I was going to mention
00:14:45 --> 00:14:49 it later, but you can sync YouTube channels.
00:14:50 --> 00:14:52 So if you have a YouTube channel, you can add
00:14:52 --> 00:14:55 it and it'll pull in your YouTube videos so that
00:14:55 --> 00:14:57 each of those has an individual page on your
00:14:57 --> 00:15:01 website, which is also extremely cool. Because
00:15:01 --> 00:15:05 I mean first of all the line between podcast
00:15:05 --> 00:15:09 and YouTube is blurring, but also if you're creating
00:15:09 --> 00:15:14 content This could be a one -stop shop for all
00:15:14 --> 00:15:17 of it because they also have a blog, right? So
00:15:17 --> 00:15:20 you have these custom widgets So if you want
00:15:20 --> 00:15:22 a video playlist or something like that you can
00:15:22 --> 00:15:26 add them on the page layouts or you can add them
00:15:26 --> 00:15:30 in the blog and It's a pretty intuitive interface
00:15:30 --> 00:15:33 either way One is focused on writing one is focused
00:15:33 --> 00:15:37 on layouts. I love that it's crazy that I haven't
00:15:37 --> 00:15:40 seen that in other places like The last time
00:15:40 --> 00:15:45 I used Squarespace's blog. I hated it, right?
00:15:46 --> 00:15:49 So it's I mean I was it was like refreshing maybe
00:15:49 --> 00:15:54 other tools do that But not tools I've used right
00:15:54 --> 00:15:58 I'll write on medium or sub stack and they are
00:15:58 --> 00:16:03 focused fully on the writing process, which is
00:16:03 --> 00:16:05 what they're there for, right? With WordPress,
00:16:06 --> 00:16:08 it's like the block editor is trying to have
00:16:08 --> 00:16:11 it both ways, and I have frustrations with that
00:16:11 --> 00:16:15 too. So, really cool. Didn't expect to talk this
00:16:15 --> 00:16:19 much about that experience, but you know, as
00:16:19 --> 00:16:22 someone who's been around the block, no pun intended,
00:16:23 --> 00:16:26 pretty impressive stuff I'm seeing here. So...
00:16:27 --> 00:16:29 Let's see. What are we talking about? Easy import,
00:16:29 --> 00:16:33 customization, and the page builder. I already
00:16:33 --> 00:16:35 mentioned that it will import reviews, which
00:16:35 --> 00:16:38 is great because I mean, first of all, in Apple,
00:16:39 --> 00:16:41 reviews are regional. So like if someone from
00:16:41 --> 00:16:44 Australia leaves a review on my podcast, I'm
00:16:44 --> 00:16:46 not going to see that in my version of Apple
00:16:46 --> 00:16:49 podcasts. So it's nice to have a social proof
00:16:49 --> 00:16:52 page. They also have a forum just to leave like
00:16:52 --> 00:16:55 feedback or reviews and make it really easy to
00:16:55 --> 00:16:57 leave reviews No matter where someone listens,
00:16:57 --> 00:17:00 which is nice because that's another like killer
00:17:00 --> 00:17:02 Call to action. That's like hey leave us a review
00:17:02 --> 00:17:06 on Apple podcasts or Wherever you listen to podcasts,
00:17:06 --> 00:17:10 right? Now you just say hey go to you know, my
00:17:10 --> 00:17:12 podcast page website Whatever the URL is gonna
00:17:12 --> 00:17:14 be slash feedback fill out the form or click
00:17:14 --> 00:17:17 the button, right? But it's a single place and
00:17:17 --> 00:17:20 I've talked about this a lot in previous episodes
00:17:20 --> 00:17:23 that you want to make getting feedback and reviews
00:17:23 --> 00:17:27 as easy as possible. I mentioned the YouTube
00:17:27 --> 00:17:30 sync or the sync YouTube channels. They have
00:17:30 --> 00:17:33 a blog. You can add participants, which is really
00:17:33 --> 00:17:36 nice and they have an intake form. So that's
00:17:36 --> 00:17:39 really cool. And then the other thing that they
00:17:39 --> 00:17:45 do that is just like. It's a lot of work if you're
00:17:45 --> 00:17:49 going to do it on your own. I think that It's
00:17:49 --> 00:17:52 memberships. I'll just say that explicitly I
00:17:52 --> 00:17:54 think there are people who are like, oh, yeah
00:17:54 --> 00:17:56 You just click a few buttons and set up the membership
00:17:56 --> 00:18:00 site and you're good to go You're not good to
00:18:00 --> 00:18:06 go setting up a membership site is hard It's
00:18:06 --> 00:18:11 hard You need to test everything You need to
00:18:11 --> 00:18:13 make sure your payment gateway is working. You
00:18:13 --> 00:18:16 need to connect a payment gateway. You need to
00:18:16 --> 00:18:18 make sure that your member stuff isn't publicly
00:18:18 --> 00:18:22 accessible. You need to think through the user
00:18:22 --> 00:18:26 experience a lot. It's not just putting a page
00:18:26 --> 00:18:29 on your website. It's when they sign up, how
00:18:29 --> 00:18:31 are they going to get access to their benefits?
00:18:32 --> 00:18:35 When they churn, how are they going to lose access,
00:18:35 --> 00:18:40 right, to those benefits? What if there are different
00:18:40 --> 00:18:43 membership levels? How do we make sure that people
00:18:43 --> 00:18:46 paying the lower price can't access the higher
00:18:46 --> 00:18:50 level benefits? There's a lot of testing that
00:18:50 --> 00:18:54 goes on. It's not just like turn on a thing and
00:18:54 --> 00:18:59 now you have memberships. But podcastpage .io
00:18:59 --> 00:19:03 does have memberships built in. You have the
00:19:03 --> 00:19:07 ability to create multiple tiers. And then you
00:19:07 --> 00:19:11 have the ability to associate multiple podcasts
00:19:11 --> 00:19:15 with a podcast website and associate one of those
00:19:15 --> 00:19:23 podcasts as a members only podcast. So you can
00:19:23 --> 00:19:26 manually add a podcast or just by RSS feed. So
00:19:26 --> 00:19:29 like the way I would do this if I were to roll
00:19:29 --> 00:19:32 out like a member's version of this show is spin
00:19:32 --> 00:19:40 it up on transistor. add the, like, create myself
00:19:40 --> 00:19:44 as a member so I get my own private URL from
00:19:44 --> 00:19:48 Transistor and then add that as a podcast on
00:19:48 --> 00:19:51 podcast page and then it'll import the episodes
00:19:51 --> 00:19:53 and they'll only be available for members only.
00:19:53 --> 00:19:56 So I think that's really neat, right? Not to
00:19:56 --> 00:19:59 mention, like, it, you know, would save me some
00:19:59 --> 00:20:01 money because then I wouldn't need to, like,
00:20:01 --> 00:20:02 pay for the members only part of Transistor,
00:20:03 --> 00:20:07 but... So that you can do the same thing with
00:20:07 --> 00:20:11 blog posts, but again, this is this is a premium
00:20:11 --> 00:20:16 feature inside podcast page That makes setting
00:20:16 --> 00:20:19 up a membership easier. I'm not gonna say easy
00:20:19 --> 00:20:23 Because it's not no matter what taking money
00:20:23 --> 00:20:26 from other people online and giving them something
00:20:26 --> 00:20:29 Has gotten a lot easier over the last few years,
00:20:29 --> 00:20:31 but it's still especially with a membership site
00:20:31 --> 00:20:37 or premium content It still takes work, but I
00:20:37 --> 00:20:42 am impressed with just the overall experience
00:20:42 --> 00:20:47 of PodcastPage .io. Something I haven't mentioned
00:20:47 --> 00:20:52 yet, which I freaking love, is if you use their
00:20:52 --> 00:20:57 service, people can record a message to send
00:20:57 --> 00:20:59 to you. So like I talked about this a few weeks
00:20:59 --> 00:21:03 ago, right? Getting feedback. On a podcast is
00:21:03 --> 00:21:07 hard and I want to do voice notes Or like, you
00:21:07 --> 00:21:11 know voice memos or audio like people quote -unquote
00:21:11 --> 00:21:18 call in and You know, there are other tools that
00:21:18 --> 00:21:22 will Kind of let you do that fan list is one
00:21:22 --> 00:21:30 of them Another one is is speak pipe but with
00:21:30 --> 00:21:33 podcast page comes with it and you could submit
00:21:33 --> 00:21:42 a voice note and Then it will show up For the
00:21:42 --> 00:21:44 podcaster or maybe the podcast she'll get an
00:21:44 --> 00:21:48 email. I'm testing this. Yeah, so I got an email
00:21:48 --> 00:21:53 I can then download it and Listen to it and add
00:21:53 --> 00:21:58 it right so it's cool. It's just like Directly
00:21:58 --> 00:22:03 email It's it's as the podcaster you get like
00:22:03 --> 00:22:06 you just get emails from people with voice notes
00:22:06 --> 00:22:08 that you can include in your podcast So I love
00:22:08 --> 00:22:12 that so I know I've talked a lot about this this
00:22:12 --> 00:22:16 this is an episode presented to you by podcast
00:22:16 --> 00:22:23 page if you Want to try it out Go to podcast
00:22:23 --> 00:22:25 page .io or click the link in the description
00:22:26 --> 00:22:29 You can use the code Joe Casabona, all one word,
00:22:29 --> 00:22:34 all caps, Joe Casabona for 10 % off and their
00:22:34 --> 00:22:38 prices start at like $12 a month, which is going
00:22:38 --> 00:22:41 to be less than hosting, like then hosting your
00:22:41 --> 00:22:44 own website or maybe around that. Right. I mean,
00:22:44 --> 00:22:47 there's like cheap hosting, but it's, you know,
00:22:47 --> 00:22:49 it's for good hosting. That's comparable. Right.
00:22:49 --> 00:22:51 Um, and it goes up from there. So if you want
00:22:51 --> 00:22:55 some premium features or memberships or multiple
00:22:55 --> 00:22:58 websites. It's going to go up from there, but
00:22:58 --> 00:23:00 you can get 10 % off with the code at Joe Casabona.
00:23:00 --> 00:23:04 I want to thank podcastpage .io for sponsoring
00:23:04 --> 00:23:06 this episode. Definitely check out the video.
00:23:07 --> 00:23:09 I'm very clearly really passionate about this
00:23:09 --> 00:23:13 and I don't just pick sponsors. Like I don't
00:23:13 --> 00:23:16 just take any sponsor and I certainly don't offer
00:23:16 --> 00:23:19 a dedicated episode to every sponsor, but I knew
00:23:19 --> 00:23:22 I'd be able to get like 20 minutes more if I
00:23:22 --> 00:23:26 look at this. I know I'd be able to get 20 minutes
00:23:26 --> 00:23:29 talking about this and the and the importance
00:23:29 --> 00:23:32 of a good website for your podcast. I truly believe
00:23:32 --> 00:23:34 it's a great way to grow. I mean, one thing I
00:23:34 --> 00:23:39 forgot to mention is that they do import transcripts
00:23:39 --> 00:23:41 as well if you include them. Right. That's a
00:23:41 --> 00:23:45 podcasting 2 .0 feature. And if there's timestamps,
00:23:45 --> 00:23:47 you can click in a transcript to jump to the
00:23:47 --> 00:23:50 to the timestamp in the audio, which is I'd have
00:23:50 --> 00:23:53 to code that custom on my website. on my Streamline
00:23:53 --> 00:23:55 celebrity website. So really impressive stuff.
00:23:56 --> 00:24:00 If you're looking for a good solution, like you
00:24:00 --> 00:24:03 have grown beyond what your podcast host offers
00:24:03 --> 00:24:07 you, then I think podcastpage .io is a really
00:24:07 --> 00:24:11 excellent solution because it just it works with
00:24:11 --> 00:24:17 any RSS feed. And so you can have your podcast
00:24:17 --> 00:24:20 host website as, you know, as a place where it's
00:24:20 --> 00:24:24 a list of your episodes. And then you can have
00:24:24 --> 00:24:27 more of a home base with all of your content
00:24:27 --> 00:24:31 over a podcast page or memberships. Really great.
00:24:32 --> 00:24:34 That's it for this episode. Thanks so much for
00:24:34 --> 00:24:36 listening. Thanks to podcast page again for sponsoring.
00:24:36 --> 00:24:39 If you have any questions or you want to leave
00:24:39 --> 00:24:43 me feedback, you can go to podcast workflows
00:24:43 --> 00:24:48 dot com slash feedback. and you can leave a message
00:24:48 --> 00:24:52 there. I'm using fan lists for that right now
00:24:52 --> 00:24:55 at least. You can go to podcastworkflows .com
00:24:55 --> 00:24:57 slash feedback and thanks so much for listening
00:24:57 --> 00:24:59 and until next time I'll see you out there.
